Panhard (pronounced POH-aah) was founded in 1887 by two friends - René Panhard and Émile Levassor.
They started making Daimler-Benz licensed cars in the beginning but during the world wars, diversified into making military trucks and artillery guns.
After the war, they shifted to making cars and produced few notable models such as Dyna X, Dyna Z, 24 CT, etc.
