A company called WRM Motors that made bicycles and repaired cars went under liquidation in 1919. It was then that investors formed a company Morris Motors Limited and purchased its assets.
The most popular car that came from its stables was the Morris Minor and the Morris Cowley.
Another car that went on to become a legend was the Morris Oxford (original design of our Hindustan Ambassador).
