Willème founded in 1923 by Louis Willème specialised in making large sized heavy haul trucks.
Willeme was already known in the 50s and 60s to make the heaviest trucks. They worked very closely with Deutz for their engines but however the high costs of these heavy-duty vehicles deterred clients to buy more and by 1970 the firm went bankrupt, before another French firm called PRP purchased it.
This model called the LC 610 with a V6 engine first rolled out in 1953.
