
Produced at the former plant of BMW, located at Eisenach (renamed as VEB Automobilwerk after division of Germany into East & West), the Wartburg 313/1 was a 2-door roadster car model that was produced in the communist East Germany or DDR.
Of the nearly 470 cars that were produced during her three years of manufacturing (1957-1960), most were sold locally and about 30% exported to the USA.
