Named after the capital city Warsaw, Polish automobile firm FSO made the Warszawa after Stalin instructed GAZ (Russian automobile firm) to offer design of their popular model Pobeda. Subsequently after 1957 FSO made some small design changes in the model.
This model was very popular in Poland among Taxi drivers because of its ruggedness. Because of its weight the model was sturdy but bad fuel economy deterred more common people to buy. Yet by the end of its production over 250,000 were made.
This metal scale model which is the Estate version (also known as Kombi in few countries) is depicted in such manner as it is covered in snow. Unique collectible for your display. Only 480 pieces made.
