Veritas RS Scale - 1:43

Founded by three former employees of BMW, Ernst Loof, Georg Meier, and Lorenz Dietrich, Veritas began by converting the pre-war BMW 328 model into racing models and branding them as the BMW-Veritas.

The first model, the Veritas RS, was built in 1947, and one of the models was purchased by an ex-employee of Mercedes and a racing driver, Karl Kling (who was already famous for winning races driving Mercedes models). That same year, Kling won two races for BMW-Veritas including the one at the Hockenheim GP, prompting BMW to ask the Veritas team to remove their name from the car.

The model RS lived up to its reputation, and the firm soon started producing Veritas branded street-legal cars in 1948.
