The Volkswagen Type 2 goes by various names such as the Transporter, Kombi or Microbus.
It is a forward control panel van that was introduced in 1950. As it was the second model after the Beetle that was named Type 1, the T2 also became popular because of the Hippie (flower power) culture in the late fifties and sixties. Until this day, every hippie will swear by this model.
The Volkswagen T2 models are also known as ‘Early Bay’ and designated T2a ,if produced before 1971 while those produced after 1972 were designated T2b.
This is a metal replica of a VW T2a Camper.
