Known by various different names such as Lada Riva in the UK, Lada Nova in other parts of Europe, the Russian made “Zhiguli” or VAZ 2104 and the VAZ 2105 were made by automobile giant AvtoVAZ.
First produced in the 1960s, this car based on FIAT 124 (the firm entered into a technical tie-up with FIAT, Italy) these cars are also known as the classic Lada’s.
The VAZ 2107 is the more luxury variant of the VAZ 2104 and VAZ 2105 and was introduced to the public in 1982 with two different types of engine options i.e 1.3 litre and 1.5 litre.
Several of these cars, were purchased by various police departments across Russia and is still a common sight.
