Built under the guidance of Sergey Nikolaev, the Tula model was developed in Leningrad by the premier Soviet design research institute, VNIITE, and was the Soviet Union’s first off-road motorcycle.
With a 200 cc engine, this bike was available in three variants - TMZ 5.951, TMZ 5.952, and TMZ 5.953. This motorcycle was hugely popular in the rural areas, especially among the fishermen and the hunting community.
