Introduced in 1967 to meet the commercial needs of small-time traders, the Toyota made Hi-Ace brand has completed over 50 years and still continue to be produced for markets in the Middle East and Africa.
Available in various combinations such as mini-bus, pick-up, delivery man, taxi ambulance, and motorhome.
It was in 1907 when two friends founded a firm called American Messenger Company to deliver packages on bicycles and motor carriages on behalf of United States Postal Service. With time the firm started transporting large side packages and then in 1916 one more partner joined them bringing in more investments as well as Ford Model-T’s. They soon changed the name to United Parcel Service (UPS).
These vans are used by UPS in the cities of Hongkong and Bangkok to deliver packages.
