The 613 was the successor to the hugely popular Tatra 603, which was exported in large numbers. With a more refined design, this luxury car with an air-cooled rear-engine was preferred by the police because of its powerful 3.5-litre V8 engine that gave 165 HP.
The production of Tatra 613 began in 1974 and continued until as late as the mid-nineties. This scale model is a rendition of the cars that were in use in the erstwhile Czechoslovakia by the Fire Department.
