SJ or Second Generation Jimmy was a range of mini 4 wheel drive SUV's from Suzuki, Japan.
The Jimmy 1000 was introduced in the summer of 1970 and was sold in several countries as the SJ410 with 2 types of engines - 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre. The Suzuki Jimmy is a line of small four-wheel drive off-road cars and mini SUVs made by the Japanese automaker Suzuki produced since April 1970. They came in various versions such as the long wheelbase pick-up truck, half door convertible, hardtop 2-door and had a 4-speed manual transmission.
In India, the SJ-410 is the Maruti GYPSY that comes with a 1.3 litre engine and is the most popular vehicle with all the Services (Indian Military) and almost all the police forces of various states.
