The Second Generation Jimmy was a Suzuki line (SJ) of mini 4-wheel drive SUVs.
The Jimmy 1000 was introduced in the summer of 1970 and was sold in several countries as the SJ 410 with 2 types of engines: - 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre. The Suzuki Jimmy is a line of small four-wheel drive off-road cars and mini SUVs made by the Japanese automaker Suzuki since April 1970. They came in various versions, such as the long wheelbase pick-up truck, half door convertible, hardtop 2-door, and had a 4-speed manual transmission.
The SJ 410 in India is the Maruti GYPSY that comes with a 1.3-litre engine and is still popular among tour operators, especially those who take people for safaris in protected zones.
