The Skoda 706 RTO was a bus built for municipalities inside Czechoslovakia, during communist times. The first model rolled out in 1959 with a water-cooled 6-cylinder diesel engine. This bus had 22 seats and could take 55 standing passengers.
Produced until 1972, this bus was also produced in communist Poland under licence and sold as Jelcz 043.
