Setra S14 Scale - 1:43

Setra is a brand owned by EvoBus and is a firm that is a subsidiary of Daimler-Benz.

The name Setra is derived from the German word ‘selbsttragend’ which means self-supporting. During the 1940s and the 50s all the buses were basically a body that was separately mounted over the chassis of a truck, while the Setra S14 was a self-supporting structure bus.

First produced in 1951, the S14 model indicated 14 seat rows. This model was highly successful and made Setra a global name for buses.
