Following the success of the 3 series, Scania from Sweden introduced the 4-series range in 1995. The R440 has a square jaw look and the front grille dips down from the windscreen to the bumper.
Coming in several variants this variant called the Highline was the most popular as it had plenty headroom for tall drivers to stand inside the cabin. There was also a small briefcase with a clipboard for a driver to keep travel papers, etc. that fit into a slot just above the windscreen.
Niall McCann with his 25 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry formed his company called NMC Haulage Ltd. in 1999. Their brand McCann today operates with a fleet of over 50 trailers and 40 other vehicles providing a broad range of transport solutions.
