Launched in 1959 with 3 doors, this station wagon was a design upgrade from the earlier 93 series by automotive designer Sixten Andersson, Sweden and Saab's well known creator of the 93, 95, 96 and 99 series models . The idea behind this creation was to make a car that's more versatile to carry people as well as load up to 500 kg.
The Saab 95 had innovative fold-away bench seats that could convert the car from a 2-seater to one that can seat 7 people, including kids. Over 100,000 cars were produced until 1980.
