Named after the Saab 37 Viggen, a jet-fighter which means ‘thunderbolt’ (Swedish), the Saab 9-3 VIGGEN was an executive car produced during the years 1999-2002. This car had a lot of technical inputs from the British Racing Team called Tom Walkinshaw Group (TWR), a brand every racing buff would know.
The engine for this car was borrowed from a concept car called the Saab 900 Concept Coupe. Nearly 5000 cars were produced.
