One of the most favoured cars by Prime Ministers as well as the Royalty in the UK, the British made Rover P5 series car was a large saloon car and was badged also as a Rover 3 Litre, Rover 3.5 Litre and Rover 3½ Litre. This series of model was first produced in 1958.
The model Rover P5B was the fourth generation model and rolled out in 1967. With a large American made 3.5 litre Buick engine (therefore the letter ‘B’ in the model name) the model was produced until 1971.
The Rover P5 Series was used by many UK Prime Ministers such as Harold Wilson, Edward Heath, James Callaghan and Margaret Thatcher as their official cars. Queen Elizabeth II also possesses one.
