Developed jointly by Renault’s Alpine and an external firm called Signatech, the Renault Alpine A110 Cup car was first announced in 2017 with production limited to just 20 cars. The A110 only uses the chassis of the road-going A110, but is a renovated car.
It has a modified roll cage, adjustable suspension with Öhlins made shock-absorbers, Brembo made racing brakes and Michelin made tyres. Under the bonnet is a 1.8 litre turbo-charged engine with engine management provided by Magneti-Marelli SRG 140 unit.
Inside, the steering wheel is made by XAP that provides the best grip and the carbon-fibre bucket seats are made by Sabelt. This car also has adjustable steering and pedal box allowing drivers of any height to be seated properly.
