The Renault 8 started production in 1962 and the Renault 10 (the upgraded version that debuted in 1965) were rear engined, rear wheel drive cars and was based on the popular Dauphine. The models were produced in France, Bulgaria, Canada, Morocco, Spain, Venezuela, Romania, Australia and Algeria.
This model was used as taxis in Bamako, capital city of Mali in West Africa.
