Using a Renault made 1.6 litre F1-2014 V6 turbocharged engine (later renamed as TAG-Heuer) and designed by the Chief Engineer of the Red Bull Racing Team, Adrian Newey, the RB13 was developed by the Red Bull Racing Team and debuted at the 2017 Australia GP.
Driven by Daniel Ricciardo, this car finished 10th at the same Australia GP as Ricciardo received a five-place grid penalty for unscheduled gearbox changes.
