
Pronounced as Nine-Eleven, the Porsche 911 (also called a Carrera) was continuously produced for a period of 25 years since 1963.
Earlier editions came with a smaller 2.0 litre engine and later in 1971 they were produced with a 2.4 litre engine. Coming in three different variants i.e. the basic model was labelled ‘T’, the mid-range model was labelled ‘E’ and the top of the range model was labelled ‘S’.
After 1973 this model with a 2.4 litre engine went by these names - Porsche 911 2.4T, Porsche 911 2.4E and the top variant Porsche 911 2.4S.
