Few consider this car to be the first from the Porsche stable. It all began with Hitlers initiatives to create a peoples car with the help of KdF (Kraft durch Freude) or Strength, through Joy (in German) which was the cultural department of the Nazis. They wanted to create a car for the Berlin to Rome race.
So the Type 64 Project began (also known as 60K10). With an aluminium body, 4-cylinder air-cooled engine, the 1100 cc engine car could race up to 150 km/hr.
However, Hitler invaded Poland in 1939, the race did not take place and the car that was developed for the race was left idle.
This is a RESIN model car and therefore has high degree of detailing.
