Produced for nearly 15 years beginning 1950, these forward control vans called D4 (successor to the earlier popular models called D3A) by Peugeot was an absolute hit in the French market.
CIJ (Compagnie Industrielle du Jouet) was a French brand that was found in 1920 and made diecast models.
The company became more famous in 1950 after it made an attempt to make metal models with Ramec (a combination of aluminium, copper, zinc and magnesium)
In 2007 Norev bought the brand CIJ and has now started reproduction of old models as in the 1950s and 1960s.
