A small family car, the Peugeot 304 made history of sorts when over 10 lakh cars got produced. Eventually this Pininfarina designed car with her 1.3 litre engine and independent suspended front-wheel-drive drivetrain with disc brakes became so popular because of smoother rides, that nearly 12 lakh cars got produced. Production that began in 1969 finally ceased in 1980.
This scale model is rendition of their 'S' cabriolet version. The 'S' variant of the Peugeot 304 was introduced in 1972 and had a more powerful engine and a twin barrel carburettor.
