A well known automobile brand from Spain since 1946, Wifredo Ricart a well known designer and a former employee of Alfa-Romeo created some of the best buses, trucks and even cars during his time. Pegaso collaborated with a large number of firms to produce vehicles. The brand disappeared in 1994 after IVECO, Italy took over the company.
Officially known as Pegaso Diesel, the model Z-202 had a 6-cylinder engine that gave power output of 120 hp. But since the cabin had an appearance with a small bulge on her sides, this vehicle was nicknamed Moflete^.
^ Moflete in Spanish means one with a ‘chubby-cheek’.
