
A well known automobile brand from Spain since 1946, Wifredo Ricart a well known designer and a former employee of Alfa-Romeo created some of the best buses, trucks and even cars during his time. Pegaso collaborated with a large number of firms to produce vehicles. The brand disappeared in 1994 after IVECO, Italy took over the company.
Sociedad Española de Importación y Distribución de Automóviles (S.E.I.D.A) was well-known for building bus coaches. Dealer for Chrysler and for all the British made Rootes Corporation brands, they also made for Pegaso.
This bus is originally a Leyland Comet, that was assembled in Spain. With a capacity to carry 44 passengers these buses were also used by the Spanish national airline Iberia, to transfer passengers within the airport.
