Technically known as Super-8, One Eighty, the Packard 180 was meant to replace their most luxury model i.e. Packard Twelve. This model was so named as it was the 18th series of Packard models. Produced for just two years between 1940-1942, this car with a 5.8 litre engine, had all the best luxury fittings available during those days.
With 3-speed manual transmission, customers also had the option to install air-conditioning that was developed by hearse and ambulance specialist Henney* with whom Packard worked very closely.
