Produced by Opel, Germany the Opel Corsa is a model that has several brand names i.e. Holden Barina (Australia), Vauxhall Nova (UK) and the Chevrolet Corsa.
A mini car, the Opel Corsa A was first launched in 1982 and is based on the General Motors 4200 platform that is used to make front-wheel drive sub-compact cars. This platform was used extensively to make cars in Mexico.
These cars were quite popular among the Police in Germany.
