
The Nissan Sunny was originally the Datsun Sunny and have been manufactured since 1966. The Sunny today is manufactured and sold under different names such as the Latio, Almera, Tsuru, Sentra and the Tiida. The Sunny or the Latio was designed to compete with Toyota's Corolla and is manufactured in countries from Egypt to Vietnam.
In India, the Nissan Sunny are made at Oragadam, near Chennai.
