The Blue as it was popularly known or the Motobecane AV 88 came in the 50's and were made until 2000. In rural Africa, they are still used in large numbers. The Motobecane must be the largest selling moped in the world.
Motobecane Mobylette were also made in India by Mopeds India Ltd. and sold as SUVEGA Super.
