Designed by Bosnian Omer Halilhodžić for Mitsubishi, the Lancer Evo X is a sports sedan with 2.0-litre engine. This car model has participated in many races across the world winning several championships.
At the 2010 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship held between 21-23 May, in Hokkaido, Japan, Japanese driver Katsuhiko Taguchi and co-driver Chris Murphy, driving this MRF Tyres (Madras Rubber Factory) sponsored car, came as the second winners.
The Indian driver Gaurav Gill and his Australian co-driver Glenn Macneall, driving a similar car (sponsored by MRF), came in the fifth position.
