Mitsubishi first launched the Delica pick-up in 1968. The same also came in other variants such as carrier vans and mini-vans.
After 10 years Mitsubishi launched the second generation van with increased width and better suspensions. The same continues to be made today in the Philippines and Indonesia and branded as L300.
Indian automobile major Mahindra also produced these under the name Voyager in 1997 but after a 2-year production run, failed to match its competitors due to higher pricing and was hence withdrawn.
German camper specialist firm Hymer took this vehicle and made this motorhome in 1984.
