It was in 1952 that Willys Overland entered into a collaboration with Shin Mitsubishi Heavy-Industries to produce the Willys CJ3A* model in Japan. The first vehicle rolled out in 1955.
The Mitsubishi J30 is one of the variants of the original J10 (that came with a Mitsubishi developed engine) and had 5- doors and 4x4 configuration. It had a longer wheelbase and could comfortably sit 6 passengers.
