It was in 1952 that Willys Overland entered into a collaboration with Shin Mitsubishi Heavy-Industries to produce the Willys CJ3A model in Japan. The first vehicle rolled out in 1955.
The Mitsubishi J30 is one of the variants of the original J10 (that came with a Mitsubishi developed engine) and had 5- doors and 4x4 configuration. It had a longer wheelbase and could comfortably sit 6 passengers.
