The development of the Debonair A30 model was a smart move by Mitsubishi – though this car had a powerful 2 litre, 6-cylinder engine the outside dimensions of the car was kept within the limit of a ‘compact’ car so as to attract lower taxes. This was the idea of former General Motors designer Hans Bretzner who designed this executive car.
Introduced in 1963, this car’s outer shape remained practically unchanged over the years, though there were several changes with the mechanicals and interior features.
