Successor model to the earlier Mercedes-Benz O405, the Citaro bus model first rolled out in 1997. Produced by both Mercedes and EvoBus (a subsidiary firm of Daimler-Benz), this model comes in several variants such as standard 10 metre (Citaro K), 12 metre (Citaro) and the long articulated bus of 18 metre (Citaro G). Hybrid and electric models with the above configuration are also made.
CaLevornia is a small town within the city of Leverkusen (close to Cologne, Germany) and this articulated bus was operated by a transport firm called KWS.
