AMG (the performance car division of Mercedes) made a very powerful car in the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. With a powerful 500 hp engine, one cannot complain about power. But what another performance car Mercedes tuning specialist BRABUS did was to take the car few notches ahead.
By reprogramming the electronic control of Mercedes 4 litre twin-turbo V8 engine, the BRABUS auto engineers raised the power to 650 hp. Inside the engine was also cylinders that were made of different material grade so that it could withstand the new surge of extra power. The car body was given a more muscular shape with bumpers made of carbon fibre with a large air-diffuser that was incorporated in to the rear bumper.
This revamped car now could take the Mercedes BRABUS 650 from 0-60 km/hr in less than 3.7 seconds.
