A car that was produced only for the existing owners of a Mercedes-Benz SLR, Daimler’s model in 2009, called the Mercedes-Benz SLR-Stirling Moss made it to a far more exclusive club, since only 75 were produced.
With a price tag of over Rs. 6 crore (then), this model was beyond the reach of even existing SLR owners. And in just one decade, this beauty now fetches upto Rs. 20 crore, in auction houses.
With design elements from their earlier made 300SLR, this car has many unique concepts such as – absence of a roof (instead protection is given by the roll-over bars that have been beautifully incorporated with the overall design flow), absence of windscreen (protection from wind is done with the help of two small wind deflectors that push the airflow to her sides), unconventional swing-wing doors (these doors angle up and go forward rather than opening towards the outward), etc. Under the bonnet is a powerful V8 engine that generates a massive power output of 650 hp.
