The Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren 722 is a car that was developed with a concept similiar to that of Ferrari's Enzo FXX program. The idea was to produce cars that would produce over 600 hp.
In 2009, this edition of the 722 was created to offer tribute to Sir Stirling Moss who with his Mercedes-Benz 300SLR car having the number 722 won the 1955 open road endurance race Mille Miglia. This car was driven by Italian born French racing driver Giovanni Alesi.
Only 150 of them were produced.
