
With more than 27 lakh cars being built in just a decade time, the W123 model from Mercedes-Benz would go in the annals of automotive history as one of the most popular people’s car.
Built as the successor to the earlier made W114 model, this model rolled out in several variants such as Saloon (W123), Limousine (V123), Estate (S123) and also sold in chassis form for ambulance, hearse, (F123).
About 60 numbers of a variant known as S123 T-Model, were produced where the letter 'T' meant, Touring & Transport car (Tourismus und Transport, in German).
