Smaller payload trucks with 2-3 ton capacity were preferred during the World War years as they moved faster and could do quick turnarounds.
Keeping this in mind, Mercedes-Benz went on to build a diesel truck, Lo 2750 (2.75 tons) to models with a higher payload capacity of 3.5 tons i.e. Lo 3750. The bus version was simply a body that was draped over the truck chassis.
This Mercedes-Benz coach Lo 3500, was a 31-37 seater bus and was made in the years 1935-1939. This bus scale model was used by Hitler's officers to conduct meetings inside the bus and comes with table, bench seats, etc.
