Mercedes-Benz L 1000 or "Express" as it was known were built between 1929 and 1936 and was the successor of the Mercedes-Benz L 3/4 van.
Its 2.6 litre engine delivered 50 HP enabling the delivery van to transport a payload of 1 ton. And the L1000 van was lesser priced than its predecessor.
