Primarily an estate car (stationwagon), ‘Shooting Brake’ is a term that got coined in the 1890’s when horse-drawn carriages used to carry hunters (shooter’s) along with their guns and equipment.
This Mercedes-Benz CLA Class of cars first rolled out in 2013. A year later they rolled out the stationwagon version. Though of the same length as their sedan model, the CLA – Shooting Brake (technically called X117) had changes that were more visual like more boot space, larger headroom space at the rear, etc.
