
‘Shooting Brake’ is a term that got coined in the 1890’s when horse-drawn carriages were used to carry hunters (shooters) along with their guns and equipment.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA class of cars first rolled out in 2013. A year later, they rolled out the stationwagon version. Though of the same length as their sedan model, the CLA – Shooting Brake (technically called X117) had changes that were more visual, like bigger boot space, larger headroom space at the rear, etc.
