With a powerful 272 hp engine and modified cylinder heads, camshaft, pistons and connecting rods, this Mercedes-Benz BRABUS* 190E 3.6S was specially developed for racing on roads.
Purely bred for street racing, this car was bereft of any rear seats, car air-conditioning so as to keep the weight light. With Eibach springs and Bilstein sports dampers, this car painted in bright red moved a lot of heads while it travelled at speeds of 270 km/hr.
* Klaus BRACKMAN and Bodo BUSCHMANN founded the firm in 1977 (the name BRABUS was formed by combining the 3 letters of each of their family names) and have been tuning-up cars for Mercedes and Maybach.
