Production of the Mercedes Benz 300 CE-24 Cabriolet began in March 1992 six months after its presentation at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
After a 20-year hiatus, this model marked the reintroduction of a four-seater cabriolet to the sales programme. A Right Hand Drive (RHD) version was also launched in the UK.
