Designated as W108 and W109 (internal technical reference numbers), the Mercedes-Benz made model of 280 SE was primarily produced for North American markets. With a 2.8 litre engine under the bonnet, this car was a huge success.
Since it’s launch during the 1965 Frankfurt Auto Show and until the last car rolled out over 3.5 lakhs cars were made.
