Mercedes 150 - W 30 Sport Roadster Scale - 1:87

A decade before the World War II began, Mercedes produced 3 different models with rear engines - 130, 150 and 170H. The idea of having the engine at the rear was to make the car have more streamline that helped to overcome higher wind resistance. It was during an auto show in Berlin on 14 February, 1935 that the Mercedes 150 – W30 Sport Roadster was presented to the public.

With a 1.5 litre engine at the rear this car could achieve a top speed of 125 km/hr. But since the car was priced quite high and sales were poor, the model was discontinued the very next year.

Tit-Bits range are highly detailed models at affordable prices.
